Texas Hold 'Em Community Cards Simulator

The purpose of this page is to simulate the community cards of a Texas Hold 'Em game as they would appear after The River card has been dealt. In Texas Hold 'Em, it is often very important to know what the best possible hand for a given set of cards is -- so you can guess whether any of the other players is possibly holding it! This page can be used to practice thinking about which hands stand the best chance of success. What is the best hand possible given the community cards that were dealt?

Some suggestions for the use of this page:

Remember that the first three community cards ("the flop") would be dealt first. How does your perception of the hand change as the turn (fourth) and river (fifth) cards are dealt?

Often, the very best hand possible is not a very likely draw for anyone. For example, you wouldn't want to fold everytime you see a pair on the board just because there's a very small chance that someone drew to four of a kind. What is the second best hand? The third? How likely is it that someone would have played the cards required to get that hand?

The main idea behind this page is to provide a tool by which a student of poker may begin to see what hands are implied by a given set of community cards -- so he can better guess what his opponents might be playing with.
